MORGANTOWN - Who needs Doc Holliday? The WVU football team is getting all the recruiting help it needs from a couple players who have already committed to play for the Mountaineers in 2010. When Ohio linebacker Jewone Snow pledged his commitment to WVU, he also pledged his commitment to help bring other top-rated high school athletes to Morgantown.

Ohio schoolboy basketball standout Jalen Robinson, of Columbus Northland High, has committed to play his college basketball at WVU.
According to Brian Snow of Rivals.com, the 6-7, 215-pound Robinson - still just a sophomore but already one of the top players in Ohio - has cast his lot with the Mountaineers and is expected to sign to play at WVU during his senior year. He will be considered part of WVU's 2012 recruiting class.

For the past several weeks - as University of Michigan head football coach Rich Rodriguez's losses mounted en route to what has become his second consecutive losing season and second consecutive missed bowl opportunity - we have made queries to a variety of people with insight into Rodriguez and/or the Michigan football program in search of more knowledge about his seemingly unraveling situation in Ann Arbor.
