Ohio schoolboy basketball standout Jalen Robinson, of Columbus Northland High, has committed to play his college basketball at WVU.
According to Brian Snow of Rivals.com, the 6-7, 215-pound Robinson - still just a sophomore but already one of the top players in Ohio - has cast his lot with the Mountaineers and is expected to sign to play at WVU during his senior year. He will be considered part of WVU's 2012 recruiting class.
Robinson has received interest from Xavier, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Ohio State, among others, Snow reports.
Robinson joins another highly regarded Columbus sophomore, 6-8 Elijah Macon, as a 2012 commitment to WVU. Both young men play for the All-Ohio Red AAU team when their respective varsity seasons aren't in swing.
